Cableloop

We transform yesterday’s cables into tomorrow’s resources.

CableLoop in Chile

CableLoop is Nexans’ initiative to promote the circular economy through the recovery and recycling of electrical cables at the end of their service life. Through this model, materials such as copper and aluminum can be recovered and transformed back into raw materials, helping preserve natural resources and advance more sustainable electrification.

In Chile, CableLoop enables Madeco by Nexans to move towards a more circular model for the industry, giving a new purpose to materials from end-of-life cables and installation scraps, and reducing the need to rely exclusively on virgin raw materials.

Circularity for more sustainable electrification

Recovering copper and aluminum enables these materials to be reintegrated into new production processes, extending their life cycle and helping reduce the environmental impact associated with electrification.

At Madeco by Nexans, we continue developing solutions that integrate circularity into our operations and contribute to building a more sustainable value chain in Chile.

What does CableLoop contribute?

  • Reduces waste at construction sites and during operations.
  • Optimizes the use of raw materials.
  • Helps reduce the carbon footprint associated with the cable life cycle.
  • Provides transparency and added value to sustainable projects.

CableLoop is part of Electrifying with Impact, our sustainability vision in Chile. Discover how we are Electrifying with Impact.
