History
Madeco by Nexans is a company with more than 75 years of history in our country, inaugurated in 1944 in the district of San Miguel, with more than 200 collaborators with the objective of being a leader in the production of copper cables in the country and in the export of our products to the five continents. 

We belong to the Nexans group since 2008, consolidating our leadership in the country, with an offer of high quality cabling system, enhanced with the seal of permanent innovation that characterizes the company, always hand in hand with its customers, supplying multiple areas of the economy, such as Construction, Energy, Industry, Mining, among others.

Today, we are leading the global change for a new type of electrification: Safe, Sustainable, Renewable, Decarbonized and Accessible to all.

More than 120 years, 3 industrial revolutions ... and starting a new chapter.

In 2019, Nexans completed the first chapter of an epic industrial story that began in the 19th century. After more than 120 years of conquests, great achievements and pioneering inventions, the Group is now starting the second chapter of its history.
